Gavarnie

The little mountain village of Gavarnie is located 20 km from the residence L'Ombrée and about 25 minutes by car.

In summer, you can access the foot of the famous Cirque de Gavarnie (classified as a Unesco World Heritage under both the natural landscape and cultural categories). The Cirque de Gavarnie is also prestigious summits such as Marboré, le Casque, le Taillon, not forgetting the famous Brèche de Roland.

In winter, you will have the chance to enjoy snow shoe walks, to access the ski resort or admire the magnificent frozen waterfalls.
